EB-3 (3rd Preference Skilled Workers, Professional & Other Workers
The third preference employment-based category covers professionals with baccalaureate degrees who don't qualify for either EB-1 or EB-2 preference; skilled workers with a minimum of two years of training and experience; and other workers possessing less than two years of higher education, training or work experience for which qualified United States workers are unavailable.
Filing a labor certification with the Department of Labor and a temporary, full-time job offer is required for the third preference classification.
